Deadline: 28 July 2020
ILC Africa calls for abstract submissions, the best of which will be selected for presentation at the forthcoming Africa Land Forum and Regional Assembly in September.
ILC Africa is organising the 2020 edition of the Africa Land Forum and Regional Assembly under the theme: Mainstreaming Land Governance in Agenda 2063. The event hopes to push thought processes around the importance of land governance in supporting Africa’s development during difficult times and how helping the African Union achieve its 2063 goals on land can rebuild Africa post COVID-19.
To contribute to the virtual forum, please send a 300-500 word abstract of your presentation on, but not limited to, the following themes:
- Arguments and positions to inform policy makers, the research community and actors on mainstreaming Land Governance in Agenda 2063
- Inclusion, gender equality, data, rangelands, climate change and family farming that showcase new perspectives on challenges and opportunities facing the continent
- New evidence-based tools and frameworks in land governance
In your submission include the title, the context, key ideas or findings, recommendations, suggested presenters and their organisations and the topic on which you want to contribute your ideas.
All abstracts will be examined and the best will be selected for the event.
Send your submission to: africa@landcoalition.info
