Respect, protect and strengthen the land rights of women and men living in poverty, ensuring that no one is deprived of the use and control of the land on which their well-being and human dignity depend, including through eviction, expulsion or exclusion, and with compulsory changes to tenure undertaken only in line with international law and standards on human rights.

Mission

MVIWATA works to strengthen small scale farmers' groups to form a sound and strong national farmers' organ that can defend and promote their interests.
MVIWATA wishes to become a strong farmers' organization that will defend interests of small scale farmers and their participation and representation in economic, socio-economic and policy decision making processes and at various levels.

Objectives

In order to achieve its mission, MVIWATA's objectives are the economic empowerment and social emancipation of small-scale farmers.
