Theme: “A National Convening to Advance Women’s Leadership, Voice and Agency in Land Governance”
This year’s commemoration brings together grassroots women leaders, policymakers, civil society, development partners, and academia to reflect on the state of women’s land rights in Kenya and chart pathways for inclusive land governance.
Over two days, participants will explore critical themes, including:
- Women’s land rights and climate resilience
- Food and nutrition security
- Women’s voice, leadership, and agency
- Equitable governance of land and natural resources
The convening provides a platform for grassroots voices, data-driven reflections, and collaborative strategies to advance women’s land and property rights, central to achieving gender equality, food security, and sustainable development.
