Mission
Our Mission is to:
i. Facilitate and uphold the principle of inclusive governance through multi-stakeholder partnership;
ii. Create the platform for dialogue among various interest groups amidst the circumstances undermining peace and tranquillity among various interest groups;
iii. Advocate for the rights and contribute to the empowerment of vulnerable groups, including women, youth and smallholder farmers;
Objectives
i. Laws, policies, regulations and procedures relating to land are in line with the framework of Human Rights as well as internationally recognized standards and practices to support national food
security.
ii. Sierra Leone becomes a national food self-sufficient and food secured country through effective land administration, upholding customary land rights, universal access by all citizens and tenure security.
Constituencies
Land for Life started in Sierra Leone in 2018, and was registered in 2022 as a civil society-led MSP initiative. The current structure comprise of four CSOs are a core group while its four district level decentralised MSP structure comprise of stakeholders from the government, traditional authorities, media and other CSOs
